Social Media Share

To load the component

To load Social Media Share component onto the page:

  1. Open Side Panel if closed, and then click on Components tab
  2. Drag and drop the Social Media Share component.

To configure Social Media Share component

  1. Click on the component
  2. Click on Configure icon (wrench). This will open the Configure panel.
  3. To add a social media item, click Add Field from Social Media Share Items and choose the social media item from the drop down. There will be a warning if there is duplicate items selected. Currently there are only 4 choices: Email, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
  4. To add twitter hashtags, click Add Field from Twitter hashtags and specify the hastag value.
  5. Click Done icon (check mark) to save

Social Media Share Component

Default variant: The Social Sharing Component adds Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter sharing links to the page. It is often included in page headers or footers. The Social Media Share component allows the user to share the page on preset social media platforms. Users can choose from four social media platforms: Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. 

Manage Syles:

In the Styles field, select a style, for example, Horizontal

Unlike other components, the settings for the Social Sharing Component is done by the template author via Initial Page properties and by the content author via Page Properties.
